ALMI – Anti Aging Buffalo NY

New Life Changing Regenerative Medicine

When it comes to trends, Dr. Jack Bertolino has seen it all and been part of it all as well. One of the most popular trends right now in the cosmetic industry is regenerative medicine. What is regenerative medicine and what are the new trends that we are seeing? Let’s take a closer look.

What’s Regenerative Medicine?

Typically in the past, we have used regenerative medicine like platelet-rich plasma to help patients with a variety of different issues including sexual issues like vaginal dryness and erectile dysfunction, as well as loss of hair. The great thing about platelet-rich plasma is that it involves using your own protein enriched plasma to help stimulate the growth of stem cells. With platelet rich plasma alone, we have seen great results amongst all of our patients, but typically we also combine it with ALMI which takes additional stem cells from your fat to help promote even more hair growth.

How Is Amniotic Fluid Used?

Although we have seen PRP on its own be effective and we have also seen a lot of success with PRP combined with ALMI, we are introducing patients to a new form of regenerative medicine: amniotic fluid. By mixing FDA approved amniotic fluid with PRP, it helps to promote follicular growth in the hair follicle, increase vascularity for erectile issues in aging men, and promote vascularity for dryness and discomfort in the aging female.

Here at Smooth Solutions, Dr. Jack Bertolino prides himself on providing people not only in Western New York but all across the country, with new, innovative solutions to promote health and well being. If you are interested in learning more about amniotic fluid as part of our new regenerative treatment, schedule your consultation at our Williamsville office and call us at (716) 633-6100.
