Let’s Talk VASERsmooth

There are many things to embrace about being a woman and then there are other things that feel more like a curse than anything, including cellulite. If you exercise a lot and eat a really lean diet, but you still have cellulite, then you may be wondering what on earth is going on with your body. You may be surprised to learn that cellulite has less to do with how much fat you have and more to do with things like genetics, hormones, and age. For instance, if you are really lean, but you have a family history of cellulite, then you probably will have it too; no matter how much you exercise or diet. Rather than just dealing with your cellulite, we have a procedure that’s designed to help get rid of cellulite so that you can step into summer feeling more confident and sexier than ever.

Let’s Talk VASERsmooth

Here at Dr. Bertolino’s office, we use a cellulite treatment called VASERsmooth which uses high-frequency ultrasound technology combined with a wand which helps to cut fibrous material that causes dimpling in the skin. The combination of these two instruments helps to loosen the fat from the fibrous bands, liquefy it, and then we can suction it out of the body using the VASER micro-cannula.

What Are Results Like?

Depending on the location and the severity of your cellulite, we may recommend more than one session of VASERsmooth, but we will be able to discuss that with you in more detail during your initial consultation. One thing that we tell all of our patients is that although VASERsmooth will help you dramatically get rid of unwanted cellulite with a few treatments, it won’t prevent new cellulite from forming.

Statistics say that as many as 80-90% of women have cellulite on their buttocks or upper thighs. If you are sick and tired of being one of these staggeringly large statistics, then schedule an appointment with Dr. Bertolino today and call us at our Williamsville office at  (716) 633-6100.
