If there’s one thing to know about aging it’s that the last thing you want is fine lines and wrinkles. But, with so many injectables out there, it can be hard to know which one is right for you. Here at our office, we offer patients a few different types of neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport. But because Botox is the injectable that’s the most talked about, you may not know the first thing about other ones like Dysport.
Dysport Requires More Units
When it comes to Dysport, less is not more. On average, three units of Dysport equals one unit of Botox or Xeomin which is something worth considering. If you have had Botox before, then on average, you will need three times that amount to get similar results with Dysport.
Results Are Faster
One of the things that a lot of patients are excited to hear about Dysport is that it starts to show results a lot sooner than other neuromodulators like Botox. In fact, a lot of people, notice that they see Dysport results two days faster. So, if you have a big event planned or if you can’t wait any longer, then Dysport may be the perfect thing for you.
It Works
The one thing that you really need to know about Dysport is that just like Botox it works. And, it’s excellent at treating the fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead. Unlike fillers that are specifically used to treat around the face and mouth, neuromodulators are ideal for the muscles from the nose up. So, if you have crows feet or lines across your forehead from scowling at your kids so many times, then Dysport or Botox can do the trick for you.
